Plart Design, a company part of the Cornaglia International Group, was born in 2015 from the meeting and collaboration between Dr. Alessandro Puntorieri (manager with multi-sectoral experiences in sales and marketing) and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cornaglia Group, Dr. Umberto Cornaglia.

The vision is to create solutions in Green Design by exploiting the century-old production expertise of the Cornaglia Group. After an initial start-up phase from 2016 to 2019, in 2020 Plart Design acquired the Cornaglia Group furniture division and activated the Eco Design District hub in Villanova Asti in a 14,000 m2 factory. A Green hub which employs its resources in the creation of sustainable products and solutions that meet the needs of its partners.

The action of PLART DESIGN is aimed at enhancing people, contributing to development and well-being, respecting the environment, and investing in technological and digital innovation. In 2021 given the operational projects implemented, Plart Design was awarded as BEST PERFORMER CIRCULAR ECONOMY CONFINDUSTRIA ’21 for skills on sustainability. A further step in our journey that makes us proud and proactive towards exclusively green projects.
